Alfonso and Uhaina at Basquelands Way planned an perfect vacation for my husband and I. We hiked the camino and they got our bags moved to the next location flawlessly. They set up an amazing guided tour of the guggenheim bilbao. They responded to all questions and requests instantly. And Alfonso shared tons of knowledge about the region on a few guided activities. We even threw a few curveballs at them and they kindly accomodated us. I highly recommend their service.

Alfonso did it all for us! Helped plan our whole trip, led us on a bike tour of San Sebastián, and served as tour guide on a driving trip to Biarritz!
He was an encyclopedia of historical facts about Basque country. We are just lucky to have found Alfonso thru KimKim. He made our visit truly memorable. And we couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable person to spend time with.

Every thing about this small boutique hotel was perfect: The "look"; the comfort of the rooms,;the extraordinary staff who helped us during the course of our stay; the great breakfast; the sweet little bar/restaurant on the main level. All around kudos.

Susanna was our local guide in Bilbao and incredibly knowledgeable in every aspect. Our tour of the Guggenheim was an amazing experience. What a joy to be in her presence. Alfonso planned our travels through cities between Bilbao and San Sebastián. When we realized that a planned hike was not what we expected, he quickly changed the itinerary to meet our needs. The hotels he booked were beautiful. The sunset cruise amazing. Guernica, Hondaribbia, Pasajes San Juan, San Sebastián were some of the highlights. Alfonso recommended Michelin restaurants, Pintxos bar crawl, sights to see when we weren't in his knowledgeable and caring presence. This was an experience that my husband and I will never forget.
