Our guide Giulia was very attentive. Monitored train schedules and provided alternative routes. Drivers for more complex routes were excellent. Driving is Rome is especially challenging, so always use a driver of taxi service. Travel in Italy is stress free with Giulia.

All the guides were wonderful and so knowledgeable about the topics they covered. Maria Paola was amazing. The Private tour of the Capri midland off positano was my most memorable event. I would recommend KimKim to anyone looking to book a trip. The app and Andrea (my contact) were so seamless and always there when I needed them just a text away!

My wife and I had our first trip to Italy this fall and decided to use KimKim as our trip organizer. We could not have been more satisfied with the service provided and how smooth the process was. Andrea who was in charge of organizing the trip was always in communication, professional and on top of every detail. The hotel selections where perfect and in the right location, the reserved transportation always on time, the restaurant recommendation on point; and every single guide we interacted with was very knowledgeable, passionate about their city and very pleasant. Honorable mention to Mariapaola and Arianna in Rome and the Vatican. Even when one of the guides could not make it at the last minute while in Florence, Andrea was able to get a substitute guide that was amazing (Ruta). One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the beautiful city of Assisi. You can breathe "peace" as soon as you step into the city. There we met with Maura as our guide and she was a delight. She was in constant communication with us even before we arrived. We also loved the wine tour in the Chianti region, but what made it really special was our tour guide, Quentin. He was so charming, full of life, passionate about wine and a wealth of knowledge.
I will be using Kimkim travel for our next trip to any part of the world.

The guides were all wonderful on all trips but we had the best one in Modena - Caterina. They were all so informative, excited, helpful, friendly and amazing.
The hotels were great - we usually stay at Hilton hotels but we are so glad we did the smaller more intimate hotels. My comments about the hotels would be for future guests

Hotel Cavour - geat hotel - best location-lovely outdoor courtyard- best staff - amazing.
Corte Dei Sogni Boutique Hotel and Spa - the worlds smallest shower - I am 5' 2" and I couldn't extend my arms - my husband is larger and was not comfortable shower. There is no bar - there is no where to get something to drink after breakfast time - they do have small selection of beverages in the room. The outdoor area was nice but small.
The cooking class in Florence was one of the best things ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Cecilia was amazing, wonderful, friendly, the view from her home is unbelievable. Just know that there is no elevator to her home and it was a few flights up.
Navona Theatre Hotel- this was in a great location - no elevator, friendly staff, no car can pull up to the hotel so you do have to take your luggage down the street a bit. No bar - small selection of drinks in fridge in room- no outdoor space.
Hotel La Bussola- another GREAT hotel - best rooftop bar! Great location!
Pizza making class was great fun - only issue is schedule said it was 2 hours and over at 230 but it was more like 3 hours and we had scheduled a car to pick us up at 230 and this caused issue with the transportation company and going to Ravello.

We had an amazing trip. Lorenzo did such a great job of planning exactly what we asked for! Her information and detail and quick response time was so good! Everything was done well.
Andrea (our specialist) was also incredible. He was very helpful in getting us all the fine details and maps in place. He checked on us daily to see how things were. Quick to respond and did a great job of pivoting when we asked! Our divers were wonderful as well. On time, polite, friendly.

Our two week trip to Italy as planned for us by Andrea was fabulous. Every step of the way went as planned, with drivers and guides on time and where we expected them to be. Andrea was a pleasure to work with and after two zoom meetings, and many emails, he helped us plan the perfect trip. He was always available before and during the trip to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend him more highly. Our trip started with four days in Rome where we visited the usual sites along with The Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, Palace Gondolfo, and Basilica San Clemente along with a food tour. We then traveled by train to Naples where we stopped at a winery for lunch and wine tastng on our way to Pompeii. Our next stop was Sorrento where we stayed for two nights and spent one day on the Isle of Capri. Our driver then took us to Amalfi, stopping in Positano, and Ravello on the way - stunning views! After two nights in Amalfi we continued on to the southeast arriving in Matera, the city of caves. We can now say we slept in a cave as our hotel was built into the canyon wall! After Matera we traveled on to Alberolbello with its Trulli houses, Locorontondo with its white washed buildings and Ostuni, the white town on a hill. Each of these stops were unique in their own way and very interesting. Lunch and wine tasting at a local Masseria made us wish we had more time to spend there. We ended out trip in the east with a guided walk of Bari, where we observed Nona's make orecchiette pasta from scratch. A relaxing train ride took us back to Rome for our next day departure home. A truly memorable trip that could not have gone better.

A small boutique hotel, the Palazzo Venere was perfect. It is well located, within easy walking distance to sights and restaurants. All of the people we met were very friendly and helpful. I cannot express enough on how grateful we are to Giulia on planning our first trip to Italy. We gave her our budget for the trip and she turned it into a dream vacation for me an my family. There was no way I could have planned it better, especially being our first time there. EVERYTHING was taken care of. From rides to and from the airports, 5 different personal tours, train tickets, boat rides to islands, fantastic but not over priced hotels in perfect locations. When ever we had a question, we were connected to her thru WhatsApp, and she or her partner answered right away. She made it so I can just relax and enjoy my trip. If you don't want the hassle of planning a large trip and having a logistical nightmare of doing it yourself, I HIGHLY recommend using KimKim. We planned our Milan and Lake Como trip late in the season and kept hitting sold-out rooms, then we found Giulia. She listened, found two perfect boutique hotels in great locations, and built an itinerary we never could have put together ourselves. Her guides were excellent, and every excursion was a hit: a fantastic cooking class, and wonderful tours of the Duomo, The Last Supper, and the surrounding areas. Once we arrived, she stayed with us every step of the way. Highly recommend!
