We didn’t love this hotel. It was very impressive, but the rooms were not clean. There was debris on the floor of the hotel rooms as if it hadn’t been vacuumed very well. Also, there was scribble marks in pencil on the walls and shelves. The mirrors and windows hadn’t been cleaned. The countertops had not been cleaned. When I go to a hotel, I like to feel like no one has been there before me. It didn’t feel like that. Beautiful hotel, though.

Service and help provided was always very reliable, all arrangements made were absolutely on time . The guides were always knowledgeable and helpful; especially Ahmed in Luxor who travelled with us along most of our program was great to have around - good english, very friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the sights we visited.
In terms of planning we would definitely change the program : too little time for Cairo, the EGM and probably add a visit to Sakkara. Sheer mass of cruise ships make the visits to the temples extremely congested. Ships sometimes dock in 5 rows. Maybe own mistake , should have planned more carefully and better avoid a cruise next time. Dahab is a huge contrast and not sure if we would choose this destination again. Overall great service from KimKim team, can highly recommend.
Last little petty point: pickup for the flight ex Cairo could be shortened; was thru security, check-in and immigration one hour after leaving the hotel so waited three hours until scheduled departure - could be shortened.

I began working with Kimkim Travel about a year ago to arrange a tour of Egypt, a lifelong dream I could finally realize.

Aya from Sun Pyramids Travel contacted us and worked very hard to help create an itinerary that not only met our desires, but was within budget as well. She is timely with her responses, given the 10 hour time difference, and cheerfully made adjustments as requested. We finally met her on our last evening in Egypt and are so happy to have become friends.

As for the actual trip, Aya's arrangements were nearly perfect. Our transports were always on time or within a few minutes, and our transport agent kept us informed.

We had three tour guides during our stay. Mohamed Allam in Luxor, Samir Gaber in Aswan and Sam in Cairo. All three were excellent, with broad knowledge of Egyptian history, and they took very good care of us, walking at our pace, offering rest stops or refreshments, and answering our questions. They were upbeat an cheerful throughout.

As with any tour of a foreign country, there were a few minor issues that caught us by surprise, but in every case, those were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.

Our sincere thanks to the entire Sun Pyramids team, and to Kimkim for making the connection. We have had a remarkable experience in Egypt that we will forever remember.

I would like to thank KIMKIM, my travel specialist Habiba and all the guides on my trip. This trip was amazing. We had 2 days in Cairo, 3 night cruise, 2 night in Hurgada and back to Cairo. This was all setup by my travel specialist . Habiba was excellent. She put together my itinerary and made everything work. She was easy to work with and I felt strong personal service. I give her five stars. Also KIMKIM is an excellent company. When I had a small issue they resolved my concerns and even got me upgraded. This was all done on a holiday. They called right back and issue was solved. I really liked all my guides. Mohammed was my cruise guide and was knowledgeable and easy to work with. He had to manage 6 peoples needs and he never made it feel like work. Imam in Cairo was fun and excellent as well. The service with travel between destinations as well as to see the sites was excellent. They worked with Sun tours and they were always there on time and with a smile.
The accommodations were 5 stars as well. Beautiful resorts and excellent cruise. This was a trip of a lifetime and only happened with the help of the whole team. Thank you, Thank you. I will use KIMKIM anytime I want to set up a big trip in the future.

This was again a great planning by KimKim and associated team. Door to door pickups and drops, English speaking guides that helped us translate from Arabic, as well as experts in Ancient Egyptian monuments and artifacts. Visited Cairo, Aswan and Luxor and we were amazed by remains of the ancient culture. I wonder what it would be when everything was intact.
If was unfortunate that so much effort had been made to destroy everything in the past but now the government has taken strict measures to protect everything. Got a lot of clarity on the ancient Egyptian Gods and the relationship between them which was my interest area. The Temples selected for us were amazing and my personal favorites were Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu temple. Our best experience was with the driver Omar in Aswan, who had taken an extra effort to make the car comfortable and the our guide in Aswan and Luxor - Ahmad who was so professional and knowledgeable.

Would have liked to give 5 stars but had to take one out, because the step pyramid in Sakkara was one of the main things we wanted to visit and we had mentioned that in the planning as well , but the guide assigned to us insisted that we do not go there despite our reminding a few times and only agreed to show us from far. I would suggest Sun Pyramids to choose guides carefully and see if they are using the funds allocated to them as they were intended to. Yes, there was a separate ticket for the step pyramid and later I guessed this might be the reason. And he was insisting that we take a horse carriage near the great pyramids that we did not even want to do and pay a big price separately (which was a lot more than the the ticket for step pyramid) for that which we eventually did not take.

Amazing trip - everything was seamless with informative and friendly guides and expert coordination by Aya ! Hany was especially great during our visits to Aswan, Luxor, and Nile cruise!

This was a trip of a lifetime. I connected with Mohammed and Armia through KimKim travel and they proposed a package that included everything we wanted to see and took us to Jordan to see Petra. It was under our budget and everything was included accept international airfare. Mohammed was easy to work with and communicated excellently. We flew to Cairo and Kariem met us. He was very helpful and just a great employee. We came to love him like a son. He took us to our hotel and met us many times on our trip. He even spent the day with us at the big bazaar in Cairo. Karom was our main guide in Cairo and was very knowledgeable. He took us to GEM, the pyramids and to some mosques and churches. Very easy to get along with and He met me everyday with Voke Zero to fill my needs. We had a driver in Cairo named Mohammed and we felt as safe as we could with the crazy Cairo drivers. Mohammed got us everywhere safely and was easy to get along with. We spent a few days in Cairo and then flew to Luxor to meet our cruise. Kareem took us to the airport and was on time with great communication. We were met in Luxor by Ahmed who was out guide on the cruise and on shore tours. He was fantastic and another highlight of our trip. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. He took us to Karnak, Luxor Temple and Abu Simbel. It was a fantastic time and exceeded expectations. Ahmed took us to a local market and we stopped at a local Cafe and experienced Shisha. It was a greatcway to get to know him and meet some local people. We enjoyed every minute with him and the cruise was perfectly timed in our trip. After the cruise ended we flew back to Cairo. Kariem met us and drove us to our hotel. We met up with Karom and finished our Cairo portion of our trip. He suggested we add on the Civilization museum and that was fantastic. 62 mummies laid out gracefully. It was a highlight! Mohammed drove us around again and was exceptional. Kariem picked us up to fly to Jordan. We were met there by the airport assistant Hossam who handled our visas and got us through customs. We were picked up by our driver Tayseer and Freddie our guide and seeing some of the sights in Amman. We were off in the afternoon to Petra with Freddie and Tayseer. It was a long drive but we got to the hotel and got some sleep. I loved riding in Tayseers BVD hybrid car! We were off to Petra in the morning. It was amazing. Beautiful site and great experience. Freddie was fun to visit with and very knowledgeable. Afterwards we drive to Wadi Rum and went clamping in a tent. It was a beautiful ending yo a great trip. We flew from Amman to Cairo and surprisingly Kariem picked us up at 930. He took us to a hotel where we didn't have time to sleep but could shower and relax for an hour. We then caught the shuttle at 1am and started the long flight home. ✈️. It was a well planned trip with people that were kind and caring. We felt safe and secure and well cared for. I can't thank everybody enough! I hope i didn't leave anybody out!

Our trip to Egypt was incredible. Habiba did an amazing job planning. From the accommodations to the sites and activities to the fantastic guides she set us up with, all of it made for a truly unforgettable trip. We had the best time with our guides Sam, Mustafa, and Ahmed. All of them were very knowledgeable about the sites and were happy to answer any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend KimKim to friends and family and will certainly use it again for future trips.
