This was our first time working directly with a travel agent to arrange a personal trip, and it worked quite well. We really appreciated not having to make all of the arrangements ourselves without any personal knowledge of the country. Siena crafted a very nice trip for us in Greece. Communication with her and the team was good both before the trip and during it, and she took our input and preferences into account. The app provided the information we needed about the trip.

There was one hiccup regarding communicating about the Likinia Hotel in Monemvasia. In a message, information was provided on calling the hotel to get someone to help with our bags since it was some distance from where cars could go to the hotel over rough walkways. Unfortunately, that info was in a message rather than the information about the hotel itself, so we did not see it until days later. Info of that type should go into the main part of the app so that we are sure to see it. It would have saved us a fair bit of inconvenience that day.

The itinerary would have benefitted from a map showing where things are located. One of the suggested sites to visit was Mystra, which would have been a short detour from our route the first day. Not realizing that, we first drove to our hotel, then discovered that Mystra was over an hour back along our route to the hotel.

One minor usability suggestion for the app is that it would make sense to have it open at the current day rather than always opening at the beginning of the trip.

Shuttles
We appreciated having transportation already arranged, especially to pick us up from the Athens airport since we were very tired. It felt a bit odd to have just the two of us in a mini-bus, though.

The only slight hiccup came when on our ride to the airport. Because of a road closure for construction near our hotel, it was more difficult to reach. We messaged the company about the road closure, and they acknowledged it. Unfortunately, this information didn’t make it to the driver, so it took him an extra 15 minutes to reach us.

Hotels
All of the hotels were excellent, and we enjoyed staying at each of them. We would return to all of them.

Tours
We enjoyed all of the tours that were arranged for us, and the guides and drivers were all professional and prompt. I would recommend all of them, though I’m not sure I have their names except Hercules was our guide for the hike to the monastery.

Our visit to Liotrivi Mansion was, overall, very nice. We appreciated learning about the harvesting of olives and the making of olive oil. The pairing of their wines with individual small snacks added to the experience. The lunch was also quite nice. However, while the olive oil tasting sounded like something fun to do, I don’t think it is something we would do again. The Greeks might be that into olive oil, but I doubt most others are!

The hike to the Avgou Monastery was, perhaps, not adequately described. The scenery during the hike and, especially, from the Monastery were wonderful. However, the hike was more than one of us could handle due to a sore knee developed from climbing around Monemvasia and Mystra, so only one of us made it to the Monastery. While the hike was described as “invigorating” and the tour is listed as lasting 8.5 hours, it didn’t say the distance (8 miles or so) or the elevation gain/loss (maybe 1200 feet). I think both of us could have made the trip were it not for the sore knee, but having that information about the hike ahead of time would have helped us make a judgement on how suitable it was.

Visiting the Acropolis was a must-do for us during our visit to Athens. However, the crowds there made it less enchanting than it would be otherwise. I don’t know if there’s anything that can be done to have it be less crowded (e.g. different time to visit), though we understand it is probably the most-visited thing in all of Greece. It might have been a bit of a help to have a guide for just the two of us rather than being a part of a group since there would be fewer troubles in keeping the group together and ensuring everyone can hear. On the other hand, we did enjoy talking to the others on the tour, so there are some nice social aspects to being part of the group.

We had an amazing experience using KimKim for our recent trip to Greece! From start to finish, the team was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and flexible. One particular highlight, for all our trips, is the tour guides with whom we've worked. In Mykonos we went on a hike with Yummy Pedals, and Dimitra was fabulous, and Pako took us on an amazing food tour. Our day on the water in Santorini was the standout, but our wine tour with Yannis was a blast, too! The true standout was our tour guide in Athens, Katerina. We went on a food walk with her one night, and then two days later a neighborhood walk. She was beyond wonderful- it was like walking around the city with a friend, and I was so sad to say goodbye to her after our second tour. All in all it was a fun, memorable trip :)

Considering the many flights, shuttles, ferries, hotels, excursions and guides, this was one of the smoothest trips we have ever had! All of our accommodations were exceptional. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, we really enjoyed them all. There was one though, Foutis was his name, October 8, the 3-7pm walk. It was a great walk in some old neighborhoods with a stop for amazing ice cream. But at the end he said, now I will take you to your dinner reservation. We were surprised by this. We asked who made the reservation and he replied that he did not know. Then he proceeded to take us to a restaurant we had no idea about. It wasn’t the best experience. Just curious if you were aware of this. It all worked out fine.
We all felt our itinerary was a good mix of activities and down time. Even though we missed Paros, we were happy to experience the other side of Milos which someone we had met had suggested that area. We learned a lot about Greek history, culture and landscape. I can’t say I had a favorite island or activity, all were unique and very fun. The food was awesome. There is so much to praise. Thank you so much for all your planning and making this a wonderful trip to remember. And thank you for helping us through the cancelled ferry and change of hotels and all our questions. We would absolutely love to use Kimkim in the future! The whole team was excellent! Thank you so much! I highly recommend you to my friends.
I also want to add what an outstanding job the team did. To Siena for working with us and coordinating our perfect itinerary. We were very impressed with the local team in Greece, Lea and the whole logistics team. The quick response to all our questions and a couple hiccups was unbelievable. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated that.

On the whole we had a wonderful trip to Greece. The scenery, history, food, and wine were just amazing.
I think that our highlights were the Acropolis and its museum, the temple of Poseidon, and Meteora. We also enjoyed Dion as well as the kings' tombs in Vergina.
Our accommodations were well chosen and we felt comfortable in all of them.
We did have a snafu when our walking evening tour in Athens was cancelled at the last minute, and Kimkim was very proactive in ensuring that we received our refund.
Our guide, in Meteora, Chris, was really outstanding and was very patient in pushing us to our limits - in a good way.
The only downside was that, since we did a great deal of driving, we would have liked to have a bit more guidance about routes, not just having to rely on GPS.
I would certainly strongly consider using them to help us plan a trip in the future.

One of our goals in Thessaloniki was to find a nice place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The restaurant (Mamalouka) that was recommended by the hotel was a perfect fit. In addition, since the city has a lot of 1 way streets, it was a little complicated to get to the entrance to the hotel. The staff was quite helpful, including coming with me in the car to the parking. Breakfast was very good.

Our trip to Greece felt effortless thanks to Siena! She met every request we had and kept us within our planned budget. It was so nice to have the full itinerary on the mobile app, with all transfers, excursions, and Greek domestic flights arranged. Each day was fully planned, with clickable Google Maps, tour/excursion meeting times, provider contact info, and ride pickups; it could not have been easier! I highly recommend it to take the stress out of not only your vacation planning, but your trip experience as well. We enjoyed every excursion: the Acropolis tour in Athens, the Santorini villages and Akrotiri visit, the private wine tasting experience with our own sommelier, and the breathtaking catamaran sunset cruise. Every hotel also exceeded our expectations. 10/10!!

Kimkim was absolutely amazing to work with for our family trip to Australia. They took all of our specific interests and "must-see" destinations and developed a flawless itinerary that allowed us to do and see almost everything we wanted within our timeframe.

The trip was packed with bucket-list experiences. Our personal tour of the zoo was incredible, and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef was unforgettable. The art adventure was a fantastic addition, and Uluru was absolutely amazing—especially the sunrise tour and the sunset camel ride.

What really set Kimkim apart was their responsiveness when things didn't go perfectly. When we encountered unexpected, weather-related travel issues, their team was incredibly quick to step in, help us adjust, and get us right back on track. I highly recommend Kimkim for anyone looking for a perfectly tailored and reliable travel experience!

The trip was well planned, busy and fun!! I can't speak for the others but having all transfers, hotels, tours and meals all planned out was amazing. I enjoyed the personal touches we received as a stand alone tour or small group. To me that makes a tremendous difference. The Doupiani House in Kastraki as well as Porto Del Colombo Traditional Hotel in Chania were my favorite!! The other accommodations were nice as well, I just happened to really enjoy the traditional aspects of the two mentioned above. The continental breakfasts in all locations, YUMMY, YUMMY and YUMMY!! Another highlight for me was the hike on day two which was operated by tour Meteora. Our guide was absolutely hilarious, unfortunately I have forgotten his name. Very knowledgeable and really enjoys sharing his love of the area!!

The KIM KIM team does an awesome job making sure all details are taken care of!
Also, are available if you have any questions at all on your vacation.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Kim Kim again in the future.

Plaka Athens was very charming.. our guide for the acropolis was amazing and really knew her stuff and was a gem to listen to!! I want to thank everyone at Kim Kim for all they did during our trip. We had a few hiccups that could not be helped but the team at Kim Kim never let me go feeling unheard. The issues were not even their fault and yet they were with me every step of the way. An unfortunate disaster happened to a building next to our hotel which meant we could no longer stay at ours and the team kept in touch with me all throughout the day and week to make sure I was ok and we were doing well. I can't explain enough how comforting that was. Nafplio was AMAZING!!! the hotel we stayed in was fabulous!! I think this was my favorite stop on our trip. Kalamata was fun but venturing out to the beaches was the BEST!! Voidokilia Beach is STUNNING!! Sienne , Lea & Grant.. thank you for all you do and you have a fan for life!!!

We had a great experience from start to finish. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating and helpful the team was when something unexpected came up and we needed to re-book our trip. They made the process easy and stress-free, which we really appreciated.

The hotels were clean, comfortable, and well staffed, and we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The activities were also a highlight of the trip. We had so much fun and really enjoyed getting to experience everything that was planned for us. Our favorite was the catamaran day, it took us to some absolutely STUNNING swim spots!

The itinerary was easy to follow, which made the entire trip feel organized without being overwhelming. We also appreciated the regular check-ins to make sure we were doing well and had everything we needed along the way.

Overall, we had an amazing time in Greece and felt very well taken care of throughout the entire trip!
